Armamillo Time-lapse Camera System
The Armadillo time-lapse system is equipped with the latest Canon DSLR to capture high quality images. The camera is link to an intervalometer that determines the image capture, from 1 second to as long as 1 hour intervals. Our Timelapse machine can be powered by several options:
1. Internal camera batteries for projects that run several hours.
External Lithium batteries that can run for several weeks.
3. Solar power that constantly recharges the battery, so the camera is self sustaining.
We care about Shutter Count
Every camera has a life span & the biggest contributor to camera wear is shutter count, ie, the number of clicks. Canon DSLRs are rated at 100,000 shutter count or more. But to ensure the highest quality in our timelapse system, we retire our cameras at 50,000 shutter counts. That is about 1/2 of the camera's life span.
We retire our DSLRs at 1/2 the cameras' lifespan to ensure reliability.
4K High Resolution Video
Most of our competitors use HD web resolution cameras like the Brinno Time-lapse camera. The images are highly compressed & the quality is inferior to a DSLR. We only use the latest Canon DSLRs in our Time-lapse Camera Systems. Thus, we are able to produce high quality 4k time-lapse videos from our system. That is 4 times the resolution of 1080 Full HD.
Types of Time-lapses We produce custom time-lapse video for clients with different needs. It can be a product demostration video or a documentation of an industrial process. We have produced time-lapse videos for clients like Inpex, Surbana, HDB, Zublin, Hyundai Construction & Samsung C&T.
Short Duration (Hours) Everyday life in 'turbo' mode. This speed is good for showcasing clouds, people & traffic movements. It is often used for city landscapes, sunrise & sunset to show changing times of the day. Other applications include product demostration, event setup, industrial processes.
Mid Duration (Days) This duration is suitable for event setups & industrial & commercial processes that requires several days of filming.
Long Duration (Months / Years) The time-lapse machine will capture 1 to 24 image everyday. This is well suited for construction projects.

Powered Timelapse System
The production of all timelapse projects follows a 4-phase process: Planning, Costing, Capturing and Editing.
Planning: During the planning stage, we will access the site for suitable positions to place the timelapse camera. We will also consider other factors like electrical supply, obstructions, permits if the camera is installed in a 3rd party property, etc. We will also recommend the powering options depending on the site.
Costing: The costing component will consist of:
Duration of the time-lapse system installation.
2. Weekly or bi-weekly maintenance fees. Capturing: We can also install multiple time-lapse cameras should the project require more coverage. Depending on the site conditions, we will make frequent trips to inspect, clean & transfer the recording media. If the client needs weekly or monthly media reports, we can prepare the footages to cater to the requirement.
Editing: After the recording is completed, our post production team will handle the thousands of images. Post production may include video editing, music, voiceover narration, motion graphics, titling, 2D and 3D animation. Once the project is completed, we can "render" the video to the resolution & media format to suit your needs. They include broadcast media like Digital Beta, archival & display media like DVD, Blu-Ray or web media like mp4 or WMV. Finally, we will archive all our projects in our LTO-5 tape archival system.

30 months We installed 2 time-lapse cameras in Oct 2013 to document the entire redevelopment of The Comtech in Alexandra Terrace, a project that will last 30 months. This new business park will form the second phase of Mapletree Business City.
Project: UIC Building Construction
Description: Construction Photography & Time-lapse
Client: Samsung C&T
36 months Our team make weekly trips to capture images of the construction of the new UIC building. Located along Shenton Way in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District, the new UIC building will take about 4 years to build.
Project: Mcdermott Batam Fabrication Facility
Description: Time-lapse photography & progress video
Duration: 6 months We installed 2 time-lapse camera to document the various stages of the construction of a subsea Riser Support Structure. This project is at Mcdermott's Indonesia fabrication facility in Batam.
